Request periodic review from the
Office of Personnel Services, of
personnel policies and procedures as
they relate to PSA members regarding
determination of salaries, fringe
benefits, job security, performance
reviews, merit increases, requests for
salary adjustments, and any other
policies and procedures that apply to
PSA membership. Review of Affirmative
Action policy as it relates to
employment practices and forward
recommendations of PSC to the President
and the Vice President for
Administrative Services. Review or
provide addenda to the professional
staff handbook as needed. Arrange for
representatives from the Personnel
Services and Affirmative Action offices
to speak to the PSC and/or the PSA at
the request of either or both groups.
Proposed Agenda:
Review of the Professional Staff
Handbook, including a review of the
bylaws.
Review merit pay procedures.
Review with Human Resources the
effectiveness of and alternatives to
the Hay System.
